ShadeMonster Fit Guarantee

Mistakes happen. ShadeMonster’s got you covered!

We know measuring your own windows for custom blinds and shades can seem a bit intimidating. Don’t fear, we’re here! ShadeMonster wants to make sure your ordering process is smooth and easy so we provide you with measuring guides and instructional videos. If you have an “oops!” moment, our Fit Guarantee can provide you with a second chance. Simply email us at hello@shademonster.com within 30 days of the date your order was delivered.

If your window treatment is too wide, we may be able to cut it down in width to the proper size for you at no additional charge (depending on the product, fabric, and width). If the dimensions of the remake are larger than your original blinds, there may be a small price increase due to additional material costs. If there is a different issue with measurements, such as the product is too narrow or the length is incorrect, we will remake the product in the correct dimensions at 50% off.

Our Fit Guarantee is limited to one (1) remake per order and a total of four (4) per household per customer lifetime. Any necessary remakes after which will be made at customer cost for the price of the original order. Guarantee excludes motorized products, drapery/curtains and shutters. 

Important Disclaimer:

  • Limit 1 remake per item; 4 item remakes per household per lifetime (unless the error is ours, in which case, we'll make it right!).
  • Same-product exchanges only, within 30 calendar days of receipt of package.
  • Changes are restricted to size and mount only.
  • Refunds are not offered under this guarantee.

Not Covered Under This Guarantee:

  • Commercial orders, defined as any order containing 25 or more of the same product, or containing any ShadeMonster.com Commercial brand product or of tax exempt status.
  • Draperies, light blockers and shutters purchased through our Shutters program are not available as part of this guarantee.
  • Any product ordered outside our recommended sizes or specifications, which can be found on the product page.
