North Miami, FL – September 4, 2025 – Integra Investments has awarded ShadeMonster the window treatment contract for NoMi Square, a $100 million mixed-use development at 13855 NW 17th Avenue in North Miami.
The project includes 342 rental units, live-work spaces, and a 528-foot-long public park. Developed in partnership with the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (NMCRA), NoMi Square combines workforce housing with sustainable urban design.
ShadeMonster will manufacture, supply and install:
White Manual Blackout Bedroom Shades – providing privacy and restful light control.
5% Solar Living Room Shades with 4” Fascia – allowing natural light while improving energy efficiency and reducing glare.
Together, these products support the development’s National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certification goals.
The integration of blackout and solar shades will provide residents with privacy, comfort, and improved light control. In addition, these window treatments are designed for long-term durability and energy efficiency, helping to reduce cooling costs while maintaining consistent performance over time. Together, they enhance the living experience and underscore ShadeMonster’s capability to deliver reliable solutions for large-scale multifamily projects.
Designed by Anillo Toledo Lopez Architecture, the seven-story community will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. In addition, residents will enjoy a resort-style pool, coworking lounges, a clubhouse, and a fitness studio.
The project is backed by a $65 million construction loan from Banco do Brasil Americas and is expected to generate more than 500 construction jobs. As a result, NoMi Square will not only create new housing but also stimulate economic growth in North Miami.
